Transfer reminders to new devices

The easiest way is to use sync or Dropbox. If you prefer to do it by hand:

1. Back up on the old phone

1. Open the side menu and tap Backup.
2. Tap the Backup button.

The backup is saved in the Backups folder inside the app’s storage folder (often called LifeReminders). To find this folder: side menu → Settings → Backup options → Local storage folder.

2. Copy the backup to the new phone

1. Connect the old phone to a computer and copy the LifeReminders folder (with its Backups folder inside).
2. Connect the new phone and paste the folder, for example inside Documents.

3. Restore on the new phone

1. Install Life Reminders. When the app asks for a storage folder, select the LifeReminders folder you just copied. If the app is already set up, change it in Settings → Backup options → Local storage folder.
2. Open the side menu and tap Backup.
3. Touch the backup you want to restore and confirm.
